Cycle count/inventory audit module
integration with skuvault

Problem Statement

One of our Clients faced problems in the integration of SKUVault. Our Client, “Cart Squad” doesn’t have a proper reporting module that can perform The cycle count module and have proper reporting capabilities. As a supervisor, how many audits have been performed at a given warehouse location? When is it? Which user is it? And whether or not any discrepancies were found? Users can acquire some information from transaction history, but for every transaction, it indicates add, delete quantity even if there are no discrepancies to be identified in the actual audit. As a result, any user will find it difficult to follow.

Solution We Provided

We at Shispare, implemented the SKUvault API to retrieve transactional data and alter it in a report for end users so that they can have better visibility to data . We organize the data into separate audits based on login, date, and warehouse location, and highlight whether or not there was a discrepancy in cycle count. An elegantly designed component will be available for users to perform the cycle count

Users will fill the above-mentioned entities and then fetch the data that will give the result of the cycle count that took place in the designated time period and location. The results of the cycle count then can be displayed in a summarized form by the user, with the discrepancy displayed for each cycle count. The results will be loaded from SKUvault and displayed to the user in a summary format.

In the screenshot above, the red circle indicates that there was an audit discrepancy, and the number inside reveals how many SKUs had a difference in cycle count. The users can see all the details that are being fetched from SKUvault by clicking on the “View Detail” button in front of each cycle count. The users can see all the details for the selected entries of the designated cycle count in a detailed view, with individual detail for every line item.

This report is ordered in ascending order on the Audit Discrepancy column, so the supervisor can see the warehouse location with the most discrepancies at the top and re-audit that region.

The screenshot above is for a detailed view that displays all discrepancies discovered in a single audit. The red ones are those where the audit quantity is less than the expected quantity, and the yellow ones are those where the audit quantity is larger than the expected quantity in the system.
